A
New Zealand man went on trial yesterday for allegedly raping five girls in
Cambodia. Graham Robert Cleghorn, 55, was charged with raping the girls at
his home in Siem Reap province, said Aing Mearadey, an investigating judge.
He was arrested in October. The girls, who came from poor rural families,
worked in Cleghorn's home as housekeepers, Aing Mearadey said. Cleghorn has
denied the charges. |
