by Catherine Masters - By day New Zealand tour guide Graham Robert Cleghorn would regale backpackers with tales of war and adventure. By night he allegedly forced young Cambodian girls, brought from poor rural areas to his home as housekeepers, to have sex with him. The expatriate Kiwi, 55, and his Cambodian wife, 23, are in jail in Cambodia, although they have not yet been formally charged, according to New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

A NZ man was charged with raping three teenagers, and his Cambodian wife was charged with pimping them in northwestern Cambodia, a newspaper reports. Graham Robert Cleghorn, 55, was charged with raping three girls ages 14 to 18, investigating Judge Ang Mealatey was quoted as saying by The Cambodia Daily. Cleghorn's arrest in Siem Reap was confirmed by John Mitchell, deputy head of mission at the British Embassy, which looks after New Zealand's intersts in Cambodia.

Authorities have arrested a New Zealand man for allegedly raping three girls, and jailed a Cambodian youth for raping a seven-year-old girl, officials said Friday. The arrests and jailing of New Zealander Graham Robert Cleghorn, 55, and his Cambodian wife Bot Keur, 23, were announced amid a government crackdown on sex crimes, particularly cases involving children. Sam Bunthorn, bureau chief of anti-human trafficking of northwestern Siem Reap province, said Cleghorn was taken into custody after the courts issued warrants for the couple's arrest.
