Mother of abducted boy to appeal contempt jailing

A woman jailed for refusing to reveal the whereabouts of her young son is to appeal against her imprisonment.

Kay Skelton was sent to prison last week after being found in contempt of court.

Her son, 6-year-old Jayden Headley was abducted in central Hamilton in August and is believed to be in hiding with his maternal grandfather, Dick Headley.

Jayden's father has custody of the boy.

Both Mr Headley and Mrs Skelton face kidnapping charges
